33. Commodity cycles and cool (or at least okay) movies to watch

In this episode, we acknowledge the commoditized preferences leading to economic cycles that boom and bust over time. Gold is trending up, and banks are starting to fail on their balance sheets again... What does this tell us? And what can we do about it? Just remember, the creditworthiness of the fiat-based system is not for the people, but for the perpetrators of the system: the bankers. Sleep well folks!

32. Doing more with less in a fiat-based system

This episode was recorded in late August of 2023 when we discussed the dangers of central banking and what we can do for ourselves when the day of reckoning comes along. This conversation was a tribute to consciously recognizing how we may be inadvertently self-sabotaging ourselves by trusting such a volatile and broken system of trade when we devalue our currency supply and kid ourselves into believing that we can somehow borrow or print our way to prosperity. We must be brave and honest with the fact that we have to figure this journey out for ourselves and remember that money is a tool, and currency is a thief. Knowing the difference is liberating. Happy freedom everybody!

31. Eclipse totality, turbulence, and trust

30. Soft?...and squishy?

Forming a bond with pets is a key component of this, and one of the reasons it's important for us to not tune out our connection to the rest of the animal kingdom and become too divided by the socioeconomic landscape, which only puts undue pressure on us in the end.

29. Questioning corporate agendas

This episode was recorded just before Daylight Savings time, in early March of 2024. We discussed how to navigate challenging relationships with those who know where our buttons are, so to speak. And maintain a sense of dignity and empathy.
As beings with souls, we have to work to retain our animal qualities; and question the corporate global takeover of digitalizing human beings by making "smart" devices our new umbilical cords. Though this is already happening on so many levels, we can still exercise hope and our freedom to speak out against the corporatization of government control, and own the responsibility to take care of ourselves.

27. Our St. Patty's Special on Spring Cycles

In this St. Patty's day segment, we celebrated with some good eats, humbiont mead, and that dank 78 sauce. We discussed how the dominance of monotheism and monocultural practices creates a lack of appreciation for the biodiversity we need to not only survive but thrive in the turbulent times ahead. This dominant society model represents a short-sighted monocle that ignores the larger picture, and we are becoming less connected to our polytheistic and polycultural heritage as a result. 26. Economics of time

In this episode, we reflect on the relevance of adjusting to daylight savings time, the flow state, and how we spend our time wisely. By being the creatures of habit that we are, it's important to still make room for expecting things to make less and less sense. With having to navigate the times and the weather, we should be prepared to increase our mental flexibility, and willingness to adapt, as much as possible.

25. Pruning the BS branches from our brains
